Massage anyone???

My friend, Lauren is in Massage Therapy at Baker College.....she has to give FREE massages 2 nights a week (I know, its sucks they are FREE)....well she could always use some more people....so if you would like one and you live in the Jackson area....comment and give me your number for her to call you and set up a time. She does an awesome job!

WTF???

Ok...so last night we got home from Cottage Inn Pizza (which I must say is really good!) and the girls go upstairs to find that Martin (our puppy) has pooped in their room....they run down to tell us and since Graci loves to clean up dog poop ( so seriously, that child is more then willing to grab some paper towel and clean it up...but of course show you first), I sent her upstairs to clean it up...well I am in the bedroom changing my clothes (to go to my massage...will post on that in a moment), I hear, "Thud, Thud, Thud".....WTF? THEN I hear Bobby saying some random swear words at a rather high volume.....Apparently, Emma decided to launch our poor puppy down the stairs....yes people, from the top! Poor thing got right up and was fine (hopefully no internal bleeding). But you can bet your sweet a** that Emma wasnt fine! Her little butt went to bed and it was only 7 pm....oh and that was after the spankin she got! I could not believe that she would think that was ok!!!!!! What in the world was she thinking? Not long after that, Graci tots over to me to show me Martin's poop in the paper towel....god bless her!

How does one handle that situation....do I have a "Child of Rage" (has anyone seen that disturbing movie?) on my hands....

This weekend

This weekend, Bobby and I went to a wedding for my friend, Lauren's, sister, Liza (you get all that?)....It was fun! There were a few people there that I hadn't seen in awhile. The wedding was very unique...the Bridesmaids all had like a feathery bouquet instead of actual flowers....it was all feathers (very pretty I might add)....BUT it was outside and let me tell you...I had sweat dripping down my back...yuck! Taste of teenage years...

Does anyone else have problems with their 5 year old back talking? OMG....mine seriously goes to bed early EVERY night for talking back to me! She thinks she is big or something and ugghhhhh, it makes me so mad! I am a firm believer of spanking, however, times have changed...you spank your kid and they tell the wrong person and you are going to jail for abuse! I got spanked as a kid and trust me...I feared my mom! And I think thats a good thing! When i went to do something bad, I thought about getting in trouble and getting a spanking and that was enough to make me stop dead in my tracks! BUT I always told myself that I would never spank my kids...that there are better ways to punish and blah blah blah (not going to deny that I havent spanked them...just not as much as I should, I suppose...lol). I was telling my mom about Emma the other day and she said, "Paddle her ass".....well its easier said then done. I mean, the few times that I have spanked my kids, I felt HORRIBLE about it....it sucks! Here is a small list of things that my kids do and say:

They get in the fridge without asking (YES, this pisses me off)
They go outside without asking
They take off to the neighbors yard without telling anyone
"I hate you"
"I dont love you"
"Your not my mommy"
"Its not fair"....but they have to scream it in your face
"I am going to go anyway"
They go outside EVEN when you have just told them no
You go outside after them and they run faster...AWAY from the house

Any advice...?

Out with the Old and In with the New...

Well we have a new addition to our family.....The Dodge Durango! I am so excited, she drives real nice! Yeah, I realize the gas prices are flippin ridiculous, but I will be driving it and I probably drive less then 10 miles a day. SO I think we will be fine.

Ours looks like this except it is charcoal gray. And there are no fancy upgrades or anything. But we got a good deal, so thats good!

Smuggling Markers?

This morning, my little one, Graci, comes into the bathroom where I am doing my hair and trying to make myself beautiful for work and I look at her and I notice that she has colored her hands, leg and I am sure some other misc. items....OMG! Needless to say, she did NOT look like that when I tucked her into bed! So I asked her, "What did you do?"....smart little kid says, "I drew on myself"....well duh! And then she said she drew on some books too! Good Lord, I am going to have to inspect their room tonight and make sure all of the markers are gone!

For the record.....

YES...I can spell! WTF? I swear there is no spellcheck button when you need it, lol. Kidding, I am just too lazy to click on it apparently!

Baaaaaaddddd Blogger!

So, I am probably the worst blogger on the planet (well behind Maria, lol)...at least I try! The reason I dont usually blog is because my life is pretty much the same everyday! No one wants to hear me ramble on about the same things all the time! Well tonight I am having a BeautiControl party and its a Margarita Spa theme. I am having Strawberry Margaritas and Walking Tacos (they dont really walk silly)....It should be fun. I would have to say that these BeautiControl Parties are about the only ones I like to go to anymore because its beneficial for you as well as the hostess. They give you a foot treatment, a hand treatment, a facial treatment, etc....its pretty nice!
Lets try this "I am thankful bit"...

I am thankful for:

My kids...even thought they talk back
My hisband...even though he is straight buggin this morning
My family...now complaints, they are just crazy
My weight....I have lost 20 or so lbs and I feel great (could still stand to lose some more)
My puppy, Martin...he is a really good little pup
My Rice Krispy Treats that are on my desk and staring at me (take a pic it will last longer)
My ice cold water that I am about to take a drink of
The fact that I get out at noon today....yay!

My Emma is growing up sooooo fast....

My new love

So...we have a new addition to the family! His name is Martin, he is an 11 week old Shih Tzu and he is about the most lovable little thing I have ever seen! I love him! Here are some pics:

Kids and extracurricular activities???

Sooo, my daughter, Emma, is in ballet right now (her recital is on saturday, which is the last thing I have to do for ballet)....Her first T-ball game is on Saturday as well. I am also signing her and Graci up for Gymnastics starting June 9th....Do you think I am overloading my kids or do you think that having their schedules packed is good for them? I guess I am the type of mom that would rather my kids be overloaded with something rather then spend all of their time watching TV or playing video games...I like to keep them busy; keep them on the go! Give me your opinions on this....I am open to good or bad opinions :-)

As for ballet though....I dont think we will be doing it next year! Its kind of boring...maybe we will do tap instead? Or myabe I will just keep them both in gymnastics all year???? Havent really decided yet!

Babies, Babies, Babies

So the babies have started coming...I still am waiting for a few more to arrive....but so far we have the following: Coming in 1st Place, Born on April 23, 2008, we have Carter Matthew Cole (my nephew by marriage and cousin by blood)....weighing in at a meer 5 lbs 13 oz

Coming in 2nd, born on April 24, 2008, we have Ayva Joan Vogel (My friend Sharee's little peanut), weighing in at a heafty 7 lbs 14 oz
And in 3rd, Born on April 28th, 2008, we have Ellie Margaret Craddock (My mom's friend, Carolyn's little girlie)...weighing in at 6 lbs 13 oz.....

Now I am just waiting on Hudson Barczak, Carter Murphy & McKinley Altenberger....I cant wait!

So much for new carpet...

So.....my cat had her kittens...when we weren't home....ON OUR BRAND NEW CARPET....upstairs under Emma's bed! OMG, huge stain! I used my moms carpet cleaner vacuum deal and it may have possibly made it worse! Any ideas on how to get a stain out of carpet?

On another note...the kittens are really cute! She had six of them...2 black & white, 2 black & 2 that look just like her. Awwwww! If anyone wants a kitten in like 7 weeks, let me know!

This fricken hair!

So....tomorrow I am getting my hair done....FINALLY! Its been like 1/2 a year since I had it done last. Anyway, I am the type of person that likes to get something totally different then what I had before...I cant just go in and have them trim it and fill in my roots....thats boring to me (no offense to people that do...just not the way I like it for myself)...anyway, I go for the shock value every time...so this time I just dont know what to do? I dont know if I should leave it short or keep growing it out? I think I know what I am going to do with the color (thats a secret)....but I am also debating on bangs! I have the swoop bang thang goin on...but I see all these cute haircuts now with lots of bangs....i dont know....any suggestions from people that know me????

Thud!

Oh my word...last night I put the kids to bed around 8 and as I was sitting on the couch watching my nightly shows, I heard this loud "Thud" above me.....I was thinking, "Dang, something must have fallen on the floor".....So I go upstairs to investigate, only to find my 5 year old laying on the floor wrapped in her blanket.....SLEEPING! My kids are some hard sleepers, but dang, to fall off your bed, onto the floor and stay asleep....that's just crazy!

Anniversary Present

This would be a picture that my 5 year old, Emma, drew for Bobby and I on our anniversary (March 25)....Its supposed to be a picture of me and bobby on our wedding day....I asked her what that was on my dress (looks like boobs) and she replied with, "Its a howt (heart) on yo dwess, duh" She cracks me up!
