Anniversary Present

This would be a picture that my 5 year old, Emma, drew for Bobby and I on our anniversary (March 25)....Its supposed to be a picture of me and bobby on our wedding day....I asked her what that was on my dress (looks like boobs) and she replied with, "Its a howt (heart) on yo dwess, duh" She cracks me up!

So......this would be Cooper....the infamous "Slutty" cat, MY "slutty" cat! She should be having kittens any day now....as you can see! So I will have Kittens ready in about 6 weeks if anyone is interested!Yes....its true...she has no face. KIDDING!

This would be my Mom's yorkie-poo Dinky....My mom makes him wear a baby diaper around the house (until he gets the family jewels removed next week)....because he cocks his leg and pees EVERYWHERE....he thinks he is a bad ass or something....well not so much anymore! LMAO, this picture kills me!

Easter

We went to my Mom's for Easter and she did the whole "Coloring of the Eggs" with the girls....oh and Bobby. It was nice, my fam came out and we all ate some good food....BBQ Chicken, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Rolls, Banana Cream Pie....mmmmm, I am hungry talking about it!

My mom hid Easter Eggs for the girls to search for....they love that! Although Emma is at that age where money is like a huge deal and when she would open an egg that had just candy in it she would trade it with Graci for one of her money eggs....and of course, Graci is a sucker for some candy....that kid LOVES her some candy.

Birthday Party

This weekend was my girls' bday party...We had originally booked a room for Saturday at the Holiday Inn so the girls could have their friends out to swim....Well the HI calls me on Wednesday and says that their pool will not be working on Saturday.....OK? So I had to hustle and book a room somewhere else. Well since there are soooooo many great hotels in Jackson to choose from (sense the sarcasm)...we actually decided to book one at the Best Western in Lansing...really nice pool and hotel! So we had some friends and family come out and here are some pics

We had fun! The Easter Bunny brought baskets to the hotel for Sunday morning....the girls were pretty excited!

Jewelry Bandit

So I have been missing certain pieces of jewelry lately and I just keep brushing it off thinking that the cat maybe was playing with it or whatever and that I would eventually find it somewhere. Well at night I always take my jewelry off in the same place (a great spot) right on the counter by the sink. The pieces that were missing werent like worth a ton of money but yesterday morning I went to put my rings on and the only ring there was my wedding ring (thank god)....but my blue sapphire ring that I paid...oh i dunno....almost $300 for was missing. SO I went to ask the children because this was getting a bit ridiculous. I asked Emma and she said she didnt know and Graci, of course, says "I know"....so she takes me in the bathroom and points down the drain and says, "Its in theyo (there) Mommy"....GREAT, so I take the flippin pipes apart (yeah I am a plumber in my spare time) and WOW, it was like Xmas. I found the following:

1 necklace

and about 20 Bobby Pins

Are you serious!!!!!!!!!!!! This kid has been stashing my jewelry! I couldnt believe it! That was always my fear that I would lose a piece of jewelry down that stupid drain....my worst fear came true! Needless to say, I dont take them off there now!

Oh and did I mention that I found a ton of hair I had been missing in there as well....Made me gag!

Emma's Bday

My little Emmie Wemmie turned 5 yesterday....sniff sniff, she is getting so big! We didnt do too much...I had to work all day and she went to the babysitters. We went out to my mom's for dinner and we had tacos, which Emma said were her favorite. She opened gifts, we had cake....the norm! Randomness

So....I havent blogged in a couple of days and I dont really have any funny stories either. I think my life has become more boring since I started this blog! So I am going to Splash Universe tomorrow with some friends of ours and it should be fun. I have never been there and I have been tanning like a mad-woman because Tanned Fat is way better looking then White Fat. I am soooooooooooo not bathing suit ready...but I guess I will deal with it! I got a new bathing suit at Walmart and its cute and all...I just wish my stomach was flatter and my ass was a little smaller....talk about your Honkey-Tonk Ba Donkey Donk! Anyway....I will take some pics tomorrow...hopefully and post them on Monday probably.....stay tuned!

Emma had to go to Time Out last night and while whe was in Time Out she said that her tummy hurt (which is among many excuses to try and get out of Time Out)...well Graci pipes up and says, "Well then why dont you go poop"....I about died!

To all those American Idol fans out there....How do you all feel about the top 24? Only a couple really stood out to me for the guys and the girls. I am lovin that kid that was born with the strained vocal cord or whatever, he is adorable AND a good singer!

Paintin' the house

So we finally got our really small amount of income tax back and decided to paint the upstairs room...its like a cape cod style house, so the whole upstairs is one big bedroom. Anyway, I plan to move the girls up there as their bedroom as soon as we get the carpet and painting done. I painted it a color called, "Fairy Vision". Its like a pinkish lavender, really cute! I just got done with the trim yesterday and so as soon as Bobby puts another coat of paint on the ceiling then we should be all set. These are the beds that I picked out

I plan on leaving the beds down as regular twin beds until the girls get a little older and then I will convert them to bunk beds.

Let me tell you....I hate PAINTING! My hands hurt soooooo bad after painting two coats of paint on the walls....Damn rollers! So needless to say...I am so happy to be done with the paint! I am excited to get the new carpet up there and just git r done!

Flu...

So yesterday I was home all day with the yucky ucky flu! I dont get sick very often...THANK GOD....because I forget how bad it sucks when your body aches and you cant get warm or comfortable and you feel nauseaus all day! And when you do get around to eat anything it doesnt stay down long! So needless to say, Emma and I were home all day yesterday with the Flu and I feel better today, not 100%, but better! I hope that is the last of the flu's for this year!

Spoiled!

So Bobby and I watched our Nephew, Logan (Bobby's sisters kid) last night....he stayed all night because his mother had to work at 6 am and she needed our babysitter to watch him...blah blah blah anyways.... This kid is about to be 4 in May and cant speak a lick of English (ok, well he can, but you cant understand any of it)....So usually when he is at our house he is pretty good but yesterday and last night I wanted to make his mother come and pick him up! He is one of those kids whose babysitter is normally the Television....Spongebob or whatever...so he is pretty much spoiled and only knows how to watch TV and not use his imagination....Anyway, so.....his mom drops him off at this Superbowl Party where we were at last night and when we were getting ready to leave he suddenly says that he cant walk...that his legs are broke....(Mind you, this kid probably weighs 60 lbs)....It was obvious that he wanted someone to carry him to the car and I told Bobby, "DO NOT carry him"....he can walk! He cried and limped all the way to the car. THEN half way to our house he starts crying for his mom and says he wants to go home and all that jazz and I set him straight with a small pep talk....he was fine once he fell asleep in the car. And THEN we pull in our driveway and he wakes up.....he starts crying and says that he wants to watch TV....at this point it was like 9:30 and the kids were wayyy past their bed time. I told him no and that at our house we dont watch TV to go to sleep and I made him a bed on the floor in the girls room and that just added fuel to the fire. He was PISSED! He was crying and throwing a fit so bad! Bobby and I were sitting in the living room and we heard him crying so hard that he started to cough and it sounded like he was choking. Now, I have dealt with enough spolied children to know that this was just an effort to get what he wanted. Well Bobby felt all bad and said he was going to go and get him and let him sit on the couch and watch TV until he fell asleep...we kind of got into a fight about it and after I won (as usual) I went into the bedroom to find this child sticking his fingers down his throat to make it appear that he was choking and about to throw up....after a VERY long talk with him he finally went to sleep. he probably thinks I am the meanest person alive....but I just have rules at my house and if you cant abide then you cant come over and play anymore....quite simple really! Am I wrong? Is this kid really a brat or am I over reacting?

Horrible Blogger

Ok....WTH (notice the face)! I couldnt post a blog correctly if my life depended on it! Did you see how that last blog turned out???? Ok, so when I clicked on "Preview" it did not look like that! Anyway, I will get better as I go...bare with me!

Rambling

So nothing new to report here....I am a very bad blogger! Its like...before I started blogging my kids did some funny stuff and the stories cracked people up. Now that I want to blog about it they havent done anything thats blogworthy besides P*ss me off, lol! No, I am kidding...I love the little spawns!

Oh and yes I do realize that their SnowOutfits do not coordinate....however, the SnowOutfits shown were on clearance and dont we all love clearance???????? Who cares if they match right????

Hush Little Baby....

So....my 2.8 year old is having troubles sleeping! She takes a great nap during the day and then goes to bed at about 8 every night....This child would seriously stay up ALL night if we let her....we put her to bed at 8 and she probably doesnt go to sleep until almost 10pm. Its really frustrating! I think she may have a sleep disorder because when she is sleeping she will come in our bedroom and get in bed with us (yeah I am too lazy and tired to put her back in her bed, lol)...but that wasnt the point...she wakes up like 4-5 times a night crying about something. So I know she doesnt get enough sleep. Someone told me to try Melatonin (an herbal remedy used for sleep)...well I crushed up a pill last night and put it in her Peanut Butter (OMG...I sound like I am drugging my kid!)....Anyway, she went right to sleep in like 20 minutes...its was AWESOME. However, she still came in our room and still woke up like 4-5 times crying in the night! So...on to plan B! Should I call the doctor and get her in? Anyone have any tips? Thanks!!

Spelling Issue?

Ok...I have to apologize for my spelling errors...you would think I graduated from Northwest or something...(ok I did)....but anyway....I post my damn blog and then go back and read it and there are soooooo many errors. I use spell check...but that only picks up misspelled words, not words that are technically spelled correctly but are used incorrectly....Like in my last post, I meant to say "Thick Hair" and said "Think Hair"....so I will give spellcheck an out on that one...because technically "Think" was spelled correctly. Ok, I just wanted to clear that up. Thanks for listening
