4 weeks after baby...my thoughts

So it has been 4 weeks since my Mollie girl arrived and life is good. I have been getting myself up at 6:30 every morning and helping Bob get the girls around and have just stayed up instead of going back to sleep as I am trying to get my body back on schedule for work in 2 more weeks...GAH! Its fine once I am up but then 3-4 o'clock in the afternoon hits and I am yawning like crazy....this has been a hard adjustment...although I am trying to make the best of it!

Mollie is doing good although she seems to be a bit on the fussy side...which was bound to happen as Emma and Graci were great babies! I think she has just figured out that its great to be held...because she is fine when held...but I cant hold her little butt all day! Plus I dont want to send her to daycare in 2 weeks thinking she needs to be held all the time...so we are working on that this week. Been letting her "CIO" when she is fed and changed as I know she cant possibly need anything else BUT to be held!

Well thats all for now...I am going to bed because I am super tired and maybe when I wake up tomorrow I will have a Twitter from Maria saying she had Anderson.....the waiting is killing me!

Miss Mollie @ 2 Weeks Old

Here are some new pics of Mollie....she is doing great! Starting to be awake more often during the day...its nice to know she has eyes, lol...since we hardly ever see them!

Had to buy the first of the formula today....went to Sam's and bought 4 (51.4 oz cans) for $80!!! Thats a deal if I say so myself! So that will last a while!

Just an update on my life...

So its been nice being off work....Its already been almost 2 weeks since my little Mollie girls was born...it has gone so fast. She is doing great! She is eating 2.5 oz every 3 hours and is still sleeping most of the day. She is such a joy...really she is!

The girls are doing better adjusting to the new baby....Graci really was never an issue but Emma was and she still has her moments but overall, she is doing much better....Thank God!

Nicole did Mollie's pics last week and she did such a good job...as always! I cant wait to see the rest of the pics! I am hoping to have her do our family pics for Xmas but it really all depends on if we can afford it as I will be just getting back to work and having to pay more for daycare...so we will see!

Tomorrow, Mollie and I are going to Kristyn's house to hang out for a few hours...she is making us Beach Bar Tomato Soup...its sooooooo good, I cant wait!

Well I guess thats all in my life right now....nothing real new to report.

Back to Business

So I will be using this blog again to document mi vida loca! I did make a link on the side to my pregnancy with Mollie though.

So things have been very crazy since we brought Mollie home....I thought that bringing home a new baby to a 4 & 6 year old would be a lot easier then when I brough Graci home to a 2 year old Emma.....well BOY was I wrong! The girls have been wearing on my last nerve....I had to call my Neurologist today and make an appt to go back in and get back on my Wellbutrin, lol...seriously!

So when we brought Mollie home...Emma was great for the first..ohhh...hour! She cleaned all the rooms in the house and was all "Yes momma, yes daddy"...and Graci was just amazed by the baby. Well after the great hour we had....things immediately turned sour, lol! Emma started acting up, doing everything in her power for attention....Graci was running around like a chicken with her head cut off.

And here we are...day 5 and they are STILL acting crazy! It's mean to say, but I was so thankful that Emma had school and Graci went to daycare today....seriously...I needed a break! I had such a nice and peaceful day with Mollie!

I think we are getting into the groove of things a little bit...the baby is the easy part...we just need to find a happy medium with the girls. Emma needs a lot of reassurance that she is loved and we are working on ways to show her that....Graci just needs to hold the baby a couple times a day and then she is alright, lol. I thought for sure that Graci would be my hard child....but it turns out that its actually Emma.

Lets just pray that things get easier...which I am sure they will in time!

Oh Emma!

So I just put the girls upstairs to watch a movie before they go to bed and as I am moving their TV table I noticed an empty can of soup in a basket on the table. My first thought was, "Oh great, they got into this and probably dumped it somewhere!"...So I ask what the can was all about and Emma pipes up and says, "I am recycling Mom!"...."See, I have the plastics in that basket and the cans in this one"....And she totally did, she had 2 plastic water bottles in one basket and that can of soup in the other. I cracked up and said, "Well honey, it good to recycle, but not in your bedroom, lol"....She just looked at me and said, "Well its good for the earth".....Yes, Yes it is my dear! What a cute kid!

Body Art...or NOT!

So my 4 year old is really into drawing....on her body that is! I thought that after the last time this happened (which was minor compared to this mornings mishap) that I had confiscated all of the markers from the girls bedroom. Well apparently not! Graci awoke about midnight and came in my room because she had to go potty...so we walked to the potty in the dark because why turn lights on? Anyway, I noticed some dark circles on her back and thought "Oh great, the Marker Monster has struck again"...well instead of making a big deal of it right then and there, I thought I would just deal with it in the morning. Well as I am in the bathroom getting ready I hear, "GRACI.....what the hell is all over your body????".....that was Bobby....so I went out in the living room and saw 2 grapefruit sized circles on her back of BLUE marker, drawings on her legs, a big circle on her elbow, her lips were painted, her hands were all blue....so I made her get in the tub real quick to at least get some off (because OF COURSE these aren't washable...they are the smelly ones that we used as a kid...Mr. Sketch or something like that...My mom got them for Emma's bday)....so as Graci is in the tub, she looks at me with those big blue eyes and says, "Well at least I will smell good...like blueberries"....LMAO....yeah I guess so!

So anyway that was the first part of the story...the second kid hadn't quite woke up yet! So Emma come barrelling down the stairs yelling that she had blue marker ALL over and she didn't do it...she swears! Poor thing h ad no idea that the Marker Monster had struck! Poor Emma had marker drawings all over her back, legs, hands...etc. See...my girls go to bed in separate beds but end up in one..and Graci just so happened to do all of this in Emma's bed. Well anyway, Emma was devastated!

So that was pretty much my morning....LMAO...kids...gotta love 'em!

Not me! Mondays...

• I so did NOT encourage my daughter to just go pee in the bathtub because I would rather her do that then run across the whole bathroom stringing all holy wetness everywhere....Plus I would never do that...thats just gross!
• I also did NOT try to convince my hubby that it was a good idea to stay at the bonfire and hang out with friends just so I could go home and have the whole bed to myself...just me and my prego pillow....I would never do such a thing!

I guess that was it for this Monday...I will have to think of more for next week!

Random Blogger

Whats new in my life???? Hmmmm....well I havent blogged on this blog in awhile. Well, our anniversary is today...we have been married 3 years! Seems like longer then that. I dont think we will do anything because we are trying to save money and the only way we can do that is if we STOP eating out....I LOVE to eat out, but we spend way too much money doing that! So I have put a stop to it. Does anyone else have that problem?

So I am sitting at work right now...FREEZING to death! I think all the women here are going through menopause and have hot flashes like they are going out of style, so they need to see their breath in order to make it through the day! My right hand goes through hypothermia at least twice a day, since it controls my mouse and all. And might I add that this day is drrrrrrrrrraaaaaggggging! Some days I wish I was a stay at home mom but then I go home and hang with the fam for a few hours and realize how nice it is to have a job :-)

The kids are good....Emma is doing excellent in school ( well its Kindergarten, how hard can it be, lol) but she loves it! She was Student of the Month for March and she was pumped about that. Graci doesnt want to go to school next year for the fear that she may learn something, lol...seriously....that kid is so stubborn when it comes to writing, numbers, alphabet, anything! It should be interesting to see her in school next year....she IS going, I dont care what she says.

Bobby is good too....his job is actually going really well (which is awesome to say since we live in Michigan) and he loves it! He has started drinking this Mona-Vie stuff...well not drink it like a glass of it, I guess you take a shot in the morning and one at night (its not alcohol, lol) and its really good for you. It has a TON of vitamins and things that are good for you in it. I cant drink it because I am pregs....but he said it has helped him tremendously! Like he was having headaches everyday and then he started drinking this and he hasnt had one since and he said he is sleeping better and has more energy. The stuff is $40 a bottle though, but its supposed to last a month. It smells good and he said it tastes good too...cant go wrong there!

Update

So I have been neglecting this blog....poor blog! Well hmmm, whats going on in my life besides being pregs.....Hmmm, nothing, lol!

We sold all those cute little puppies and it was so sad to see all of them go...they were soooo cute! I think they all went to good homes so that is good.

The kids are good....they both have bdays next month so that should be fun!

Did my taxes and have big plans for the money!

Lovin the weather outside right now....soo nice and I love the smell!

Actually "tried" for a baby, lol

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I think it was to lose weight and I did lose 25 pounds at one point...but I have since gained most back because of the damn holidays.

So....Bob and I had a really good night! We met some new people and had a great time. We went over to some friends of ours, Nicole and Ryan...and they had a ton of their friends over as well. VERY nice group of friends they have. I wish that Bob and I had a nice group of friends that we could just hang out with and play games and just chill....but really we mostly deal with immature relatives that would rather get tanked and act like idiots....I, myself, have grown out of that and so has Bob...its nice to be able to just sit around and talk and just relax. I was invited to scrapbook and I may take Nic up on the offer one of these days. I have been meaning to start scrapping but I have no time...EVER!

But anyway, we had to leave the party early, which sucked because I was enjoying myself. Well let me tell you this load of bull....So my SIL (sister in law) calls us while we are at Nicole & Ryans and begs us to come out there (she had been asking all week but I told her we had other plans)...she is drinking so she is really laying the whole "Guilt Trip" on thick...so Bobby asks me if we can, even though he was also having a good time where we were at, and I said sure whatever. Well we get in our cold ass car and start to drive across town and they decide to call and say, "Hey we are going to wait till you get here and then we are all going to ride with you guys to some party out in God knows where".....uhhh...NO they arent I tell Bob! So needless to say, we left Nicole & Ryans for no reason obviously but by that time I was feeling crampy in my stomach ( I get that way when I drink....not sure why), so we just decided to go home and watch the ball drop together. It was a peaceful end to a night which should have ended with us celebrating with Old and New friends.....I will NOT do that again for my SIL....still ticked about it and its like 2am, lol.

Well on another note....Hope everyone had a great NYE and best of luck on all of your resolutions....I know I need it!

Xmas and so on and so fourth...

So Christmas was good! The kids made out like bandits as usual...I spend wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much money this year....next year will not be that way. Really looking forward to the New Year because I have a few resolutions....I shall list a few:

• Lose weight...well hopefully I get preggers soon and then the losing of the weight will be after baby!
• Sticking to my budget better
• Saving Money
• Being a better blogger :-)
• Keeping my car clean
• Being a better organizer
• Answering my cell phone...lol, if you have tried to call me then you will know why I say this!
• Getting together with my friends more often....I have so many friends that I hardly ever see and it makes me sad that I am missing so much of their lives!

Uhhh....I am sure there are more....but those made the top of the list. What kinds of resolutions are you all working on this year? I hear a lot of people wanting to lose weight...I think thats a pretty big one for most people.

Looking forward to Nicole's party tomorrow night....I made LOTS of pudding shots for it! I made Mint Chocolate, Butterscotch and Orange Creamsicle ones.....hopefully they go over well! I know they did at the party I went to where I first had one. They are yum-diddly-umptious!

Ok...well off I go to wash my face and go to bed for my big half day of work tomorrow....who makes people work on New Years Eve anyway???? I mean really???

In regards to my last post about puppies....I mentioned that we "breeded" them....apparently that is incorrect and it should have said that we "bred" them. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone. Symptoms of inconvenience include:

• Rashy Butt Cheeks
• Irritable Bowel Movements
• Constipation
• Dry Mouth
• Swelling in hips

If any of these symptoms persist please see a doctor immediately since I doubt it would mean you are inconvenienced.

Puppies for Sale...

Ok...well they will be in like 10 weeks! Anyway, so we breeded my moms dog, Delilah (Yorki-Poo)....in case you do not know what that is...its a Yorkie and a Poodle mix (mini poodle of course)...we breeded her with my dog Martin, who is a Shih Tzu. So the puppies are called "Shipookies".....I know, the name just makes you want one, LOL! Anyway....we were going to breed them just because we thought they would have some cute pups and come to find out, its an actual breed! SO...we already have three of them sold (2 boys and a girl)....so there are 2 girls and a boy left if anyone is interested. They will be $250 with their first set of shots and we would need a $50 deposit down to hold one for you. Let me know...here are a couple pics! Mind you that they are like a day old in these pics so they still look like rats, LOL!

I mean I have grown up with this girl and allowing her to come near my head with a pair of scissors takes a lot of meds and balls (pardon my french), lol! No really though...she is pretty good! Just got my hair done....check it out! I am WAY into change....and so this was a HUGE change for me!

It's been ahwile!

So whats new.....hmmm? Well my oldest, Emma, has strep throat! That sucks....I feel bad because last night before bed I was giving Graci her meds (has a bad cough) and all the sudden Emma pipes up and says, " I have a sore throat...I need medicine"....well I thought she just wanted medicine (my kids LOVE some medicine) so I told her no and said she was making it up...well she woke up in the middle of the night with a 103 fever....awww, I felt horrible! Long story short...she has had a fever all day and has had a sore throat and she has had a bowl up to her face all day because she thinks she is going to puke! I hate when my kids are sick...makes me sad for them! I really hope that I dont get strep throat!

I havent blogged since Halloween, so here is a pic of Graci in her "Dorothy" costume....I have a reason why I didnt get one of Emma but its not a really good one...so I wont go there, lol....

So my mom went to Texas a few weeks ago to see my brother and brought these Mexican Dresses back for the girls....they are cute....check em out:
